How to Replace an Audi G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

2. Injectors

Yesterday accelerating full speed from highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss like the engine is out of gas or the injectors aren't firing anymore. This morning i pull out the spark plugs, three were drenched in gazoline, the fourth was dry. I put a piece of tissue over each injector hole, and when I turn the engine on without sparks, the 3 with gazoline jump right out. The fourth one remains shut. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55/30/55/48/55/14/55/48/ I get zero ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.

I also tried to reset PID without success. The car can start if the G28 is unplugged and runs fine when it is plugged in, but still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even if it is not plugged in, shows temperatures of -49c. Also, i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit is showing 2 bar while the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.

I'm not certain what to do, but i feel i have pretty much completely ruled out all other possibilities. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. Let me know should you have any suggestions! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump
